Players’ Pub Poker League
is a company that was developed because of the enthusiasm generated
by the challenge of playing Texas Hold’em. The League was
born of a mutual interest in card playing. The three partners
realized that Texas Hold’em was a game of skill, luck and
action—and, once you start playing, it becomes infectious.
It was because of this that we were sure that others would feel
the same. It is no coincidence that Texas Hold’em has arguably
become the most popular poker game in history.
We provide a structured, “No Risk” opportunity for
participants to play No Limit Texas Hold’em. These structured
events provide each participant the venue to compete within the
League, socialize and either increase or learn the skills in the
game of poker.
In 2005, the league began with the New Jersey region and continues
to expand within, Bergen, Passaic, Sussex, Warren, Morris, Essex,
Union, Somerset and Middlesex Counties.
In
2006, the league has expanded into Pennsylvania and this region
currently covers North Hampton, Monroe, Wayne, Susquehanna, Wyoming,
Lockawanna, Pike, Leuzerne, Carbon, Schuylkill, Lehigh and Berks
Counties.
